For the launch of the new movie Jurassic World Dominion, Universal was looking for a special and unique campaign that would generate a lot of awareness and tie in with the movie's theme of 'Dinosaurs Live Among Us'.
The Jurassic World movie was lanuched with a splash: by using the Amazon hero placement that was leading the users to a special Brand Store Landing Page. As this is the most prominent placement on Amazon, it generated a broad reach.
When customers clicked on the Banner, they were instantly diven into the Jurassic World through a Video Reveal. A dinosaur was ripping apart the Amazon site. It was a full screen video animation that took over the Amazon page and transitioned from the banner to the Landing Page.
I created an Jurassic World Hub on Amazon, which enables the user to dive deep into a world where dinosaurs and humans live together. The hub emotionally catches the user with large images and the movie trailer, before guiding them to the cinema ticket purchase. The hub also gives the opportunity to order favorite Jurassic World products right away.
The Banner on the Amazon Startpage delivered 18.7mm impressions.
