HOME WITH ALEXA
At the beginning of 2020, the world was in turmoil due to the pandemic. It was foreseeable that the world's largest trade fair for consumer electronics and household appliances, the 'IFA', could not take place. For this reason, we thought about a strategy how we can digitally draw attention to the possibilities with Alexa and provide customers with more information. This also gave us the opportunity to expand the target group and address not only trade fair visitors and the press, but also anyone interested in technology.
'Home with Alexa' is a digital destination where customers get inspired by Alexa products and experiences - an online portal into the world of Alexa. It helps customers learn Alexa’s capabilities. Users get in touch with some basic question like 'Alexa, play music' and funny once like 'Alexa, what’s the first rule of Fight Club?'.
The Hub will take customers to different rooms and showcases products and use cases from built-in and works with Alexa partners.
The Alexa Hub was so successful with customers, advertisers and the Alexa team that after the launch in 2020 in UK, DE, FR, IT, ES it will continue in 2021, 2022 and 2023 and the concept will also be adopted for Japan.
In total we shot 18 days, for 5 different countries with different styles and over 40 different products.
